Greek meatballs with beef mince recipe ( Keftedakia recipe )

minutesWho remembers sitting at home as a child and smelling the unforgettable aroma coming from the kitchen of the homemade meatballs that your mum was cooking? We all had to make sure we received the same amount of meatballs on our plates, so no one missed out! These delicious meatballs are easy to make and they can be served as appetizers.
Ingredients
1 kg beef mince meat
2 tablespoons of salt
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of pepper
2 potatoes
1 cup of crumbs (cornflakes crumbs)
2 cloves of garlic
2 white onions
1 whole egg
1 bunch of parsley
canola oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl add beef minced meat.
- Chop potatoes in the blender until smooth consistency.
- Strain blended potatoes in a sifter and set aside.
- Finely chop onions garlic, parsley.
- Add ingredients (including whole egg & crumbs) into the bowl and combine thoroughly.
- Cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for 1 – 2 hours.
- Mix ingredients and roll into walnut shape size balls.
- Fry meatballs in canola oil turning over until all sides are golden.
- Set aside meatballs on a paper towel and serve.

- Serve with dipping sauce.
- Garnish with finely chopped parsley.
