These cookies are simple to make and are normally made during the lent (fasting) periods. The cookie dough is softer and oilier than many other of our recipes and when baked these delights are delicious.

We sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar over the dough before baking whereas traditionally these cookies are sesame coated. It is the perfect companion with your next coffee or tea. Scented with aromas. such as orange, cinnamon and clove.
